OHSAA Division I Region 3 Football Quarterfinal Matchups Set for Friday
Opening-round winners join rested top seeds for regional quarterfinal games scheduled for Nov. 6.
The Ohio High School Athletic Association Division I regional football quarterfinal games are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 6, according to tournament organizers.
Under OHSAA tournament rules, the top four seeds in each region receive a first-round bye, and the higher-seeded team serves as host through the first three rounds of the playoffs.
In Region 3, top-seeded Gahanna Lincoln earned a first-round bye to host the winner between eighth-seeded Columbus St Charles and ninth-seeded Lewis Center Olentangy Orange. Olentangy Orange defeated St Charles 29-26 on Oct. 30.
Second-seeded Upper Arlington earned a first-round bye to host the winner between seventh-seeded Pickerington Central and 10th-seeded Reynoldsburg. Reynoldsburg defeated Pickerington Central 19-15 on Oct. 30.
Third-seeded Worthington Kilbourne received a first-round bye to host the winner between sixth-seeded Pickerington North and 11th-seeded Groveport Madison. Pickerington North defeated Groveport Madison 37-0 on Oct. 30.
Fourth-seeded Powell Olentangy Liberty earned a first-round bye to host the winner between fifth-seeded Delaware Olentangy Berlin and 12th-seeded Westerville Central. Olentangy Berlin defeated Westerville Central 17-10 on Oct. 30.
Regional semifinal games are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 13, according to tournament organizers.
