Neptune North Plans Columbus Tech Hub and 75 Jobs by 2029

The joint venture between Oliver Wyman and Rokos Capital Management lists an office on North High Street as it expands in Ohio.

Neptune North, a United Kingdom-based technology consultancy, plans to establish a U.S. technology hub in the Columbus region and create 75 jobs by the end of 2029, regional economic development officials announced on Sept. 28, 2026.

While the joint announcement from One Columbus and JobsOhio described the project's permanent site as a to-be-determined location in the Columbus region, Neptune North's corporate directory lists an existing office at 800 N High Street in Columbus. The announcement did not disclose a capital investment figure for the expansion.

Founded in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2024, Neptune North operates as a joint venture between global management consultancy Oliver Wyman, a business of Marsh, and alternative investment fund manager Rokos Capital Management. The firm provides data, artificial intelligence, software, and consulting services for clients in financial markets, defense technology, and artificial intelligence. In its first two years of operations, the company grew to 200 employees with offices in the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain, and Lithuania, as well as operations across Australia and New Zealand.

The new Columbus positions will include software developers, data engineers and other technology professionals supporting the company's U.S. client base. Neptune North Chief Executive Officer James Beard said the company plans to hire locally for both experienced and graduate roles, as well as attract talent to the region.

Economic development leaders pointed to the Columbus area's concentration of corporate headquarters, financial services, and insurance employers as a draw for international firms. Jonas Peterson, chief economic development officer and president of One Columbus, said the decision places the Columbus region at the center of the firm's American growth plans. JobsOhio President and Chief Executive Officer J.P. Nauseef said the commitment reflects Ohio's standing as an attractive market for overseas business investment.
