“They're a juggernaut,” Coe said of New Albany. “We were in a slugfest with them last time and ended up beating them 35-28, but I'm sure they probably left that game thinking they didn't play their best. But anytime you get to play New Albany, it's a great opportunity. Our kids are excited for it, and I know they'll be ready for the rematch at their place.”
“Canal Winchester football is my life, apart from my family,” Coe said of his interim role. “It's a different role I'm still learning — that universal perspective — because I'm a defensive guy and sometimes I gotta be careful about being too defensive-minded on the sideline and be more in-tune with game management. That's not an easy thing when you're still running the show on defense.”
