Drive-By Shootings on East Main and South Third
The prosecutor's office said the earliest case stems from a March 13, 2025, drive-by shooting at a residence on East Main Street.
Multiple people were inside the home when it was struck by gunfire, and officials said one person was shot in the back and paralyzed from the waist down, while investigators recovered 42 shell casings from the scene.
Morris is charged with seven counts of felonious assault and three weapons charges related to a March 13 shooting that occurred on East Main Street, near Allen Avenue in the Olde Towne East area according to court documents.
In another shooting on Sept. 17, 2025, the prosecutor's office said three people were inside a home on South Third Street when it was struck by gunfire according to officials.
No one was injured, but officials said 30 shell casings were recovered from the scene.
Pursuit and Crash in Franklin Township
On Nov. 23, 2025, the prosecutor's office said Driscoll was involved in a Franklin Township law enforcement pursuit with deputies.
During that incident, a Franklin County deputy attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Driscoll, but officials said Driscoll did not stop and ultimately crashed on an entrance ramp to Interstate 270 North at the end of the chase.
A stolen AR-style firearm was found inside the vehicle after the crash.
Proceedings Pending Against Co-Defendants
The prosecutor's office noted that several of the incidents Driscoll pleaded guilty to also involved other defendants, whose cases remain pending in court.
According to a felony complaint report, Trey Morris was named as a second suspect in connection with a March 2025 shooting that left the victim paralyzed following the attack.
Morris, who was also wanted by U.S. Marshals in connection to a June 2025 shooting, was arrested Tuesday and was issued a $5 million bond on all charges, which includes two additional counts of felonious assault and three weapons charges from the second incident according to authorities.
Morris was apprehended on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026, by Columbus police and U.S. Marshals, while court proceedings against him and other co-defendants remain ongoing in Franklin County.
