Man charged with murder after fatal stabbing of Brandon Parsons in Milo-Grogan

A man has been arrested and charged with murder following a fatal stabbing early Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026, near the Milo-Grogan neighborhood north of downtown Columbus, according to local television stations NBC4 and 10TV.
Columbus Division of Police officers were called around 12:35 a.m. to the area of Cleveland and Reynolds avenues on a report of a stabbing, 10TV reported. Responding officers were called to the intersection shortly before 12:40 a.m., according to NBC4.
Upon arrival, responding officers discovered victim Brandon Parsons suffering from fatal stab wounds, according to NBC4. Parsons, 40, died from his injuries.
Following an initial investigation at the scene, police arrested a male suspect on Sunday and charged him with murder in connection with the fatal stabbing, NBC4 reported.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Reynolds Avenue in Milo-Grogan, an established urban neighborhood situated immediately northeast of downtown Columbus. The area features a mix of residential housing, commercial storefronts, and industrial properties along Cleveland Avenue, one of the central city's primary north-south corridors connecting near-downtown neighborhoods with Columbus's northeast side.
