Columbus secures $1M settlement from Kia and Hyundai over auto thefts

The City of Columbus reached a $1,002,117 settlement with Kia and Hyundai to recoup municipal policing and safety costs after widespread car thefts. City Council votes Sept. 28 to deposit the funds into the General Fund, separate from individual consumer class actions.
